Space usability algorithms are proprietary and “event based” - whenever specific conditions are met then operational “working rules” are enforced. “Working rules” include mandatory rules, comfort rules and security rules. Space usage and energy metering reports provide building managers with spatial and temporal profiles that help them better manage the facility by continuously adapting the “working rules” to dynamic conditions. “Space usability” events can trigger warnings, by SMS or email, or turn on devices, as alarm bells or other devices, whenever an “unexpected” situation happens, like occupancy at off-time hours. “Scalable” and “easy to deploy” wireless network together with “over the air” configuration garantee the operation and maintenance costs are always kept low.
