...It is a process of cold forming metal, in which the input material is drawn through a correspondingly shaped tool, called a drawing die. The aim of drawing is to produce products in the form of bars or wires, which are characterized by very high cross-sectional accuracy and a smooth, shiny surface, as well as specific mechanical properties that can only be achieved through this type of forming.
