Application of black locust wood: - playground equipment - fence and pasture posts - wooden pavement - palisades and garden fences - footbridges and terraces - flower beds - garden furniture, small garden architecture Black locust is the only species of wood of non-tropical origin with resistance class 1 to 2 according to DIN 68 364 (+EN350/2), and therefore the most weather-resistant wood in Europe. It withstands extreme weather conditions and attacks by various pests. This translates into very high durability in soil - at least 80 years and several hundred years of durability in water. Thanks to its own defense substances in the form of natural tannic acids, black locust is exceptionally resistant to all kinds of pests, insects and mold. The very high density and hardness of black locust translate into its longevity. Our company is FSC certified.
