For the Energy market, TOBLOCKCHAIN developed the PowerToShare software platform with decentralized blockchain applications like peer-to-peer energy sharing and trading, source of origin and mandate management. Together with ENGIE, TU Delft, The Green Village and Blocklab, TOBLOCKCHAIN deploys the PowerToShare software platform for the Rotterdam region. In addition, with DNV GL and Gasunie we are working on the PowerToShare community project in the Groningen region. First versions of PowerToShare are built on Hyperledger and Ethereum blockchain technology. Currently, the team is developing PowerToShare on faster distributed ledgers and blockchain technologies that offers thousands of transactions per second. TOBLOCKCHAIN won the Energy Track at the 2017 Dutch Blockchain Hackathon and received a special prize at ABN Amro Hyperledger Hackathon in 2016. The blockchain specialists were also invited to present PowerToShare at the prestigious Dubai Global Blockchain Challenge in 2017.
