Grade B: healthy knots are allowed up to 25 mm not more than 2 pieces on the running meter. Black knots are admitted up to 4 mm not more than 4 pieces on the running meter. Grade C: healthy knots are allowed up to 35 mm, not more than 2 pieces on the running meter. Black knots or holes are allowed up to 15 mm not more than 2 pieces on the running meter. Grade R: healthy knots are allowed up to 50 mm up to 1 piece on the running meter. Healthy knots are admitted up to 35 mm till 1 piece on the running meter.
