From 1995 to the end of 2007, FIBERFIL S.p.A. produced polyester fibre for the automotive sector, operating solely as a contractor. At the beginning of 2008, the company acquired a new portfolio of customers who use polyester fibre for a wide range of industrial applications, and in May 2012 moved to new premises in Via Provinciale Valle Seriana, remaining in Casnigo. The new establishment covers 40, 000 m2 (20, 000 indoors) and has an extrusion system which, at full capacity, enables it to produce approx. 1, 700-2, 000 kg/hour of discontinuous polyester fibres, equivalent to 14 to 15, 000 tons per year. Manufacturing is in a continuous cycle, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, which give us a great amount of flexibility.

OJSC "SvetlogorskKhimvolokno" has been put into operation in 1964 as an artificial fiber manufacturer. It is the major enterprise of the city. There are more than ten thousand workers from Svetlogorsk had been working during various periods of time, while the urban population is 75000. Production program of the company consists of wide range assortment of polyester textile yarns, carbon, thermo-resistant, polypropylene materials. The system of a quality management of manufacture is certificated on conformity to the international standard ISO 9001: 2009 and to the standard of management by ecological activity of the enterprise STB ISO 14001: 2005. OJSC “SvetlogorskKhimvolokno” also have Oeko-Tex Standard 100. At the moment OJSC "SvetlogorskKhimvolokno" is one of the largest enterprises of the petrochemical complex of the country.
