OUR STORY The company was founded in 1992 as a limited partnership, primarily to provide veterinary services and specialist advice on indoor pheasant rearing. From 1995 onwards the company’s main activity has been commercial. Domestic pheasant sales and purchases were carried out according to market requirements. Initially, we farmed in Tiszanana, and in the early 2000s, we bought the pheasant farm of Mavad Zrt. in Gyomaendrőd. In the following years, we expanded both branches, where pheasant and mallard breeding became the main economic activity. Every year between November and January, our company is engaged in purchasing live hares and their sale abroad. GYOMAENDRŐD SITE At present, it is designed to keep 6000 pheasant hens. The eggs are hatched in our French Bretagne-type hatchery. The expansion involves the cultivation of around 130 hectares of arable land. In this way, we produce the primary source of feed for the animals. The farm also includes a 1-hectare pond for the laying of mallard hen stock and a hatchery built to incubate the breeding eggs produced. TISZANÁNA SITE In addition to the laying strain in Gyomaendrőd, the other branch rears one-day-old mallards up to 4 and 6 weeks of age. According to market demand, we produce an annual average of 60 000 young mallards for our hunting partners. The cellar has the most modern winemaking techniques, has a thermal conditioning system used to control the temperature of fermentation of grapes and wine during the storage phase. Our wood pellets only contain sustainable feedstock, sourced from UK forests, providing a reliable long-term fuel source to our customers. We are an accredited Biomass Suppliers’ List (BSL) source of wood pellets and use FSC® approved sources of wood fibre either in the form of sawmill co-products and surplus logs. We offer a quick and efficient delivery service which can transport bulk wood pellets direct to you in a variety of different formats and vehicles. Land Energy pellets come with our Energy Guarantee as standard. They are guaranteed to contain 4, 800KWh per tonne as delivered to you (this means the amount of energy we deliver to your premises in pellet form before it is burnt in your boiler). The pellets are measured on a net calorific value (CV) basis by an independent laboratory using the industry standard burn test EN14961. In the event that we fail to deliver our Energy Guarantee, we will deliver to you, at no cost, additional pellets to make up the shortfall in energy
