FIBERFIL S.p.A. was founded in 1995 when the current owners acquired the Casnigo (Prov. Bergamo) branch from Radici Group. From 1995 to the end of 2007, FIBERFIL S.p.A. produced polyester fibre for the automotive sector, operating solely as a contractor. At the beginning of 2008, the company acquired a new portfolio of customers who use polyester fibre for a wide range of industrial applications, and in May 2012 moved to new premises in Via Provinciale Valle Seriana, remaining in Casnigo. The new establishment covers 40, 000 m2 (20, 000 indoors) and has an extrusion system which, at full capacity, enables it to produce approx. 1, 700-2, 000 kg/hour of discontinuous polyester fibres, equivalent to 14 to 15, 000 tons per year. Manufacturing is in a continuous cycle, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, which give us a great amount of flexibility.

OUR STORY The company was founded in 1992 as a limited partnership, primarily to provide veterinary services and specialist advice on indoor pheasant rearing. From 1995 onwards the company’s main activity has been commercial. Domestic pheasant sales and purchases were carried out according to market requirements. Initially, we farmed in Tiszanana, and in the early 2000s, we bought the pheasant farm of Mavad Zrt. in Gyomaendrőd. In the following years, we expanded both branches, where pheasant and mallard breeding became the main economic activity. Every year between November and January, our company is engaged in purchasing live hares and their sale abroad. GYOMAENDRŐD SITE At present, it is designed to keep 6000 pheasant hens. The eggs are hatched in our French Bretagne-type hatchery. The expansion involves the cultivation of around 130 hectares of arable land. In this way, we produce the primary source of feed for the animals. The farm also includes a 1-hectare pond for the laying of mallard hen stock and a hatchery built to incubate the breeding eggs produced. TISZANÁNA SITE In addition to the laying strain in Gyomaendrőd, the other branch rears one-day-old mallards up to 4 and 6 weeks of age. According to market demand, we produce an annual average of 60 000 young mallards for our hunting partners. We are producing the Helix Aspersa Maxima according to the french way (indoor and outdoor), meaning the full cycle of production process. The expected yield for this season (2011) will be minimum 10 tons of high quality Helix Aspersa Maxima. All the necessary quality certificates can be provided.
