A historic reference for French berets since 1840, LAULHERE manufactures high-quality berets in France calling on unique know-how drawing on tradition. Today, it is the biggest manufacturer of hats made entirely in France, creating about 80 models per year available in a range of sizes and colours. The men and women at LAULHERE are highly skilled in the art of knitting, fulling and felting, dyeing and colours, ennobling and numerous other operations specific to manufacturing a LAULHERE beret and numerous other hats for every season. All this know-how earned LAULHERE official recognition in the form of the Origine France Garantie and Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant labels in 2013. Year after year, the company has created more and more collections for the general public and military institutions as well as the luxury and fashion industries. By meeting the needs of the most demanding customers with its own manufacturing facilities, LAULHERE ensures total production sovereignty. Our aim is to continue working tirelessly to modernise the beret and place it centre stage, while perpetuating the priceless legacy of which we are now the last guardians.

Our estate is located in a protected, fertile environment close to Sables d'Olonne. Veillon beach, one of the region's outstanding sites, is just 10 kilometres from us. The beach is a natural treasure recognized by countless certifications, including the prestigious Natura 2000. It borders an inlet that extends up as far as the oyster port at Guittière and is enveloped by sand dunes, pine forests and sea air. Our love of botany and green chemistry led us to create a pilot farm run on organic principles. We select different varieties of plant that we carefully cultivate then harvest at just the moment when the flowers are in full bloom. We use plant species that are selected with great care for their power and quality. We respect the plants' natural cycles, with no added chemical molecules.
