Since 1970, the artistic cast iron work of technical college graduate designer and master craftsman Berndt Schweizer has been located in a former cement factory. In 2006, collaboration with the independent artist Irene Magdalena Orecher on the BRANDUNG ('Surge') mosaic metal sculpture laid the foundation for new shared premises – MosaicMetalArt, with a workshop, shop, gallery and exhibition area. Metal art and handicrafts, mosaics, sculptures and paintings are produced in the workshops. The unusual combination of material and handicrafts, but also the close collaboration with specialists of the most varied kinds, enables custom solutions for unusual requests – from the idea, through design and right up to installation on site. After countless exhibitions at home and abroad, its own workshop/gallery was built. Demonstrations together with guest artists have proven a successful concept. Guests are also happy to linger in the idyllic garden with an outdoor bar and campfire area. Guided tours last approx. one hour. Please register in advance.

We started in 1991 making our own workshop and we created our first handmade items of mouthblown glass. After a 13 year experience on glass, working with it freely without moulds, we tried to make handmade glass beads in 2004. Our success in this area encouraged us to create new items and experiment with new materials such as copper, brass, sterling silver... Since then we design and create handmade lamps, mirrors, clocks, artistic jewellery, wedding crowns and anything else that inspires us! In 2005, we inaugurated our own shop in the center of Thessaloniki, Greece. Recently, in 2015, we moved to Edinburgh, Scotland, UK, where we continue our inspiring creations. We are members at Edinburgh Sculpture Workshop, Leith Lapidary Club and design Gap. All our items are distinguished for their original natural style which allows for the handmade nature of the object and the original earth materials we use, to be brought out. They are made with love and personal care!

Our hand made production of a lot sorts glass statues (figuress) is based on own author design and arise from tradicional production of glassware prepared by glass melting using gas burner - drawing glass technology. We are the single firm of the world which produce this products. We are located near of JABLONEC city in Czech republic.The usual production of this technology are only the small figures to 10 - 15 cm. We developed own working method for producing of the statues grate more then 25 cm. Now we produced the offered sorts in size cca 30 cm (L) and cca 40 - 50 cm ( XXL). All our production is protected by Authors´ Rights and is registrated by IPO - Industrial Property Office of the Czech Republic as the Industrial Designes. The sculptures are produced from coloured glass sticks on gas burner, all is an original hand made production. Each sort can to be producted in each color you want, the motion of the hands is rather. Each sculpture has certificate of the originality.
