The year was 1953 and the young Manuel Jorge Gomes was finishing elementary school when he inherited the first lands that are today part of the several properties of Hortícolas Casal D'Avó. In the beginning he produced wheat, barley and corn, later moving on to turnips, which had great demand in the Ribeira market in Lisbon. Nowadays Hortícolas Casal D'Avó produces 10 varieties of high quality fruits and vegetables to satisfy the needs of its various clients. Located in Ribatejo, more precisely in the municipality of Torres Novas, Hortícolas Casal D'Avó is today being managed by Mr. Manuel Jorge Gomes and his 5 children who accompanied their parents in the production and marketing of fruits and vegetables. In 2010 the sales volume exceeded 1 million Euros, which in turn has been increasing until today, approaching the 3 million in 2021. All thanks to the commitment and dedication of the Gomes family and its employees, who already cultivate more than 450 Hectares and continue to expand with future acquisitions. To ensure that the products reach the final customer with the highest level of quality and freshness, Hortícolas Casal D'Avó also has a range of agricultural equipment ranging from tractors to machines for washing and grading the products. It has a cold storage capacity of 250 m2 and a new warehouse of 1800 m2 located in Golegã, which is close to its production area.

“Dor August” S.R.L. produces and sells prunes - we have been processing Stenley and Anna-Shpett aprons since 2007. Our company is headquartered in Rezina, Moldova. The company S.R.L. "Dor-August" was founded in 2007. However, our history begins much earlier: until its official founding, we carried out our activity as a Peasant Farm. Today, after many years of working out of love for people, we are recognized with the trademark ADOVA - Love from Moldova. One of our first important achievements was marked in 2001, when we built the first two plum dehydration ovens. Soon another remarkable event followed in the company’s development - we planted the first orchard of about 15 ha. In the present, we own 13 dehydration ovens and 70 ha of plum orchards with two types of varieties: Stanley and Anna-Shpett. This spring, ADOVA is going to increase its capacity to 20 plum dehydration ovens. Our plans are beautiful and we are always with a new development perspective - in the near future we plan to increase the production capacity of up to 4000 tons of freshly processed production. Thus, we will diversify the assortment and we will also go into retail. The story of ADOVA has the main heroes the members of our family, a family with traditions and workers, parents, wife, children and godchildren. We were the ones who believed in our dream, but also the ones who were involved over time in all production processes.

At the intersection of manufacturing, art and technology, we want to bring wood and furniture to live using colour and creativity. We strongly believe that the future in Home&Decor is Self Printed Furniture. Every one of us is an artist with the proper tools. We just make your dreams happen. If you are a parent, making furniture for kids is almost impossible. It is very easy to become paranoid and start making negative scenarios thinking about all the cataclysmic situations that can only happen to you, because that’s what you are, the most unlucky person in the world : ). When we started this project, we made a promise that no table will leave the factory until we are confident enough that this product is good for our child, in the first place. And yet, Caesar proved to be the best test engineer in our case and within a month he was able to dismantle all our theories and bring to our attention problems other than those we imagined. Later on, we created Home, Coffee and Self Print Collections for the adults who felt a little bit excluded. So, we produce printed kids wooden table with bunny chairs, printed coffee table and self printed kids and coffee table. We do all the process, from cutting the wood, preparing the design, rounding the table tops, bunny chairs and legs, painting them, testing for compliance, preparing for delivery, packing and shipping, all these elements are necessary to have a very high customer retention.
