The manufacturing plant in Riga, Latvia is dedicated to the production of carbon steel sheets and strips for a wide range of applications. It currently hosts 4 flat steel processing lines (2 are for cut-to-length and 2 for slitting) as well as packaging lines for sheets and strips. We also own 2 warehousing centers in Riga. The company started its business in 1993, since 1998 we have produced pine bark mulch. “Basteji” might be called as trailblazers of mulch manufacturing – it was the first company in Eastern Europe which was specialised in producing pine bark mulch, until 2004 it was the only company in the whole region.
