The farm „Basteji”, located in Latvia, is a company, which practices in producing pine bark mulch and growing of trees and bushes seedlings. The company started its business in 1993, since 1998 we have produced pine bark mulch. “Basteji” might be called as trailblazers of mulch manufacturing – it was the first company in Eastern Europe which was specialised in producing pine bark mulch, until 2004 it was the only company in the whole region. In 2003 our production unit was profoundly reconstructed and modernised for working and making production under the rules and quality standards of EU. It is difficult to find supply of equal value for pine bark mulch from “Basteji” – our experience, our skilful and enthusiastic employees, modern technologies and raw materials of finest quality are only some factors which enable us to produce the highest quality pine bark mulch.
