The company operates a 2 story building and 750 ares of land in the beautiful village surroundings of Alšininkai, the municipality of Prienai, where remarkably rich, all-natural plant growth promoting soil amendment – biohumus or worm castings (also commonly referred to as “vermicompost” and “vermicast”) is produced by sleepless workers – earthworms. Materials that are being processed: vegetable, fruit waste and cow manure. In April 2012 JSC Biohumusas has finished to set up a completely new soil mix factory and now offers organic substrates from all natural ingredients: high-marshy Lithuanian peat, premium compost, warm castings. Production is offered packed to plastic bags: 5, 10, 20, 50, 80 l or big bags.
