Tableros Fornes was founded in 1988 by José Miguel Fornes. Plywood panels. Normally made from tropical species of wood. This is peeled wood, so called because the trunk is cut in a continuous rotary manner against a blade with a millimetre thickness, thereby obtaining continuous layers from a single piece. Inner layers of different species of peeled wood. Poplar, Ilomba, kapok and okoumé wood used according to the hardness, density, appearance and type of bonding.
