The company was founded in the 1960's by Mr Virginio Panciroli under the name "Italganci". The first products created were a hook for meat transport and a limited number of hinges and locks expressly designed for refrigerated trailers and trucks. In 1979 the name was changed to FURGOCAR. A development period began resulting in the creation of a vast range of products for diverse applications on refrigerated vehicles. In 1999 Furgocar became a part of the Group Pommier bringing to the French Group components and systems for the refrigerated transport sector. Today the Pommier Furgocar commercial network covers all five continents.
