In undertaking such works, I strive to absorb the lessons of the great master portraitists and adapt them to my aesthetic sense, to create something that fits within this honored tradition but is also different and unmistakably "mine," both classic and pleasantly modern. The soul of a business, its identity and essence, can be as interesting as that of a person. In "corporate" portraits, my aim is to reveal the traits that differentiate a company and express them through a work of art that embodies its uniqueness.
