The new DPC (Direct Plated Copper) manufacturing method also enables miniaturization and microelectronics that are not possible with other methods. Ceramics are resistant to UV rays, and their inert nature makes these substrates ideal even when a hermetic package is required, where outgassing or humidity cannot be tolerated.
