Our studio is very glad to inform you that except foreign visitors, we also work with Greeks who live abroad and while visiting Athens and its many places, also wish to experience Greek heritage through mosaic making! 13MosaicStudio is in the heart of Athens historical center. Our team is Laura Tapini, Marina Kassimi, specialists to Mosaic Technique a Laura is a conservator of antiquities, with a Mosaics’ academic background from Ravenna | Italy and many years of experience in the field and in teaching in Europe, Asia, and Africa, where she has worked on a variety of art. She is also the co-founder and Managing Director of Diadrasis an NGO for the protection of Unrevealed Cultural Heritage. Marina is an interior designer, with great experience in conceptual development, space planning, executing designs and who over the years has researched, coordinated and managed several projects. Today she is expanding her vision in design through the mosaic’s contemporary world. we pay attention to detail and are consistent with our visitors and collaborators! You will have the opportunity to explore the historic development of Mosaic which has marked the entireMediterranean and not only, while experiencing how materials and contrasting colors compose and harmonious mosaic. You will make a stunning mosaic memory and will take back home the art creation, testimony of an interactive workshop!

Our roots, values and the faith in White, which is created inside our land, led to the creation of Greco Marble SA in 1983. Professionalism and reliability are the tools that have established us in the Greek marble industry. In 1990 we inaugurated our production and store facilities in Athens, where we created a highly qualified and modern workplace. We initiated in primary cutting and processing, intensifying our relations with Mt. Pendelikon, our neighbor and the producer of the famous marble of Acropolis. Shifting our efforts towards the mapping of various perspectives of marble we crafted a team of Architects, mechanics and specialists under our “Creative – Artistic” department. After a successful response to the increased building phase of Athens and Greece in general, combined with exports of Greek white marble, in 2002 we opened a full vertically integrated manufacturing facility in Thiva equipped with heavy machinery to integrate the whole field of marble applications, and to depict a catalytic role in the control of all stages of marble production. For the past 35 years, we have been investing in our relationships with our suppliers and, in this way we consider the quarries in Greece (Thasos, Volakas, Penteli, etc.) or abroad (Carrara, Marocco, Portugal, etc.) our home. Today, relying on customer loyalty and experience, we achieve in adapting to current conditions with different needs and requirements from anywhere in the world..

The Song of Odysseus is a name meant to evoke the Greek journey of Homer’s hero as he sought to find his way home. Just like Odyssey, our journey is to help the world find its way back to the home of the worlds best olive oil: Greece. Our company has its own grove of trees and also selects from only the finest olive trees of Crete to suit the taste of our creation.
