World Fire Alarm basic principles: Detect-Notify-Monitor fire World Fire Alarm is an integrated fire security system designed to protect both building facilities and human lives. It provides near real-time information by constantly monitoring the whole world through geostationary satellites NASA Aqua/Terra MODIS and AVHRR NOAA. The information received is processed and in the case of fire detection, indicating spots are generated on the map. The received and processed data is updated maximum every 15 minutes, guaranteeing fast and current updates. The area that World Fire Alarm can cover ranges from 15 to 40 kilometers radius around the customer’s facilities (point of interest) providing very high Spatial and Temporal resolution. If a fire incident is detected by the satellites near the customer’s facilities, notification alerts in the form of SMS and e-mail messages are automatically sent to the customer.
