1906: The brand logo GEBE is the initials of Gotthilf Breining, the OEM supplier for Bosch, Lucas, Fiat and Ducellier (Valeo). Known worldwide in the aftermarket under the trademark "GEBE", which has been renowned for its quality since 1906. 1983: Willy J. Schoenen, the founder of IKA GmbH (Ltd.), takes over G. Breining as a supplier of carbon brushes and self-lubricating bushes. Willy J. Schoenen was managing director of Gotthilf Breining GmbH, which he joined back in 1968.
