This particular business sector has evolved in to the company's core business, creating customer-specific applications in the field of pressure sensors, humidity sensors and UV sensors in line with market demands. Innovative applications in the medical field or in corrosive environments use stainless steel as well as titanium or Inconel to make turned parts. In the UV and humidity sensor sectors, we develop, produce and distribute sensors, sensor modules and electronic equipment. We currently offer a complete range of UV sensors, measuring windows, UV display devices and reference measuring devices, in particular for the market of UV disinfection for drinking water, utility water and ballast water on ships. In 1996, the company was certified in accordance with DIN EN ISO 9001 and also became qualified to provide training.

H. Heinz Meßwiderstände GmbH was founded on 1st April 1991 in Elgersburg/Thüringen. The company initially produced glass measuring resistors. The product range continued to grow and adapt in line with market demands. This resulted in the design and manufacture of Pt 100 temperature sensors, thermocouples, resistance thermometers, mineral-insulated resistance thermometers, foil and silicone measurement resistors and average value sensors. Then and now, the individual customer requirements took centre stage. In addition to one-off and small batch productions, the company was increasingly able to offer larger scale series production. Expansion of the company into a new building with a spacious production hall and state-of-the-art machines at the beginning of 2003 met the growing requirements in terms of production quality and quantity.
