TECNARO GmbH (TEChnologie NAchwachsende ROhstoffe) was founded in 1998 as an ICT spin-off from Fraunhofer Gesellschaft für angewandte Forschung e. V. with the aim of replacing conventional petroleum based plastics with plant-based bioplastics. These biomaterial granulates are called ARBOFORM®, ARBOFILL® and ARBOBLEND®. These environmentally-friendly biomaterials are processed in the same way as conventional petroleum-based plastics by means of injection moulding, extrusion, pressing, deep drawing, calendering, spinning or blow moulding to make moulded parts, panels, films, bottles, profiles, coatings or filaments. The company has received a number of awards for the innovativeness and sustainability of its products, including Green Brands Germany 2013/14, 2015/16 and 2017/18 2019/20 2021/22 Gipfeltreffen der Weltmarktführer honoured TECNARO with the Innovation Champions Award 2020, Diesel-Medaille 2011, European Inventor Award 2010, Germany Industry Award 2009 in the suppliers category, Werkbund Label 2008, VR Innovation Award 2007, ZDF WISO Founder Award, Euromold Award in Gold. In 2014/15, a dedicated production plant was built in Ilsfeld and was more than doubled in 2022 through an extension. We have been developing and distributing film packaging machines all around the world for over 50 years. Every Kallfass film packaging machine contains a great deal of systems solutions expertise and industry experience. Our extensive range of machines includes L sealers, single and dual side sealers, film shrink wrapping machines, bagging machines, sleeve wrappers (case packers), stretch packers and shrink tunnels. We also offer a large selection of components, including, gripper infeed systems, conveying belts, feeder systems, stacking stations and film folding devices. Kalfass' packing systems process polyethylene (PE), polypropylene (PP) and polyolefin (PO) films, as well as biofilms made from renewable raw materials, such as PLA films. Kallfass' packing systems are available for manual, partially automated and fully automated film packing. Our systems can be used to manufacture individual packaging and multipacks (full wrap or with film bands)

sicht-pack HAGNER is one of the most prominent European manufacturers of transparent films made from polyester. We provide hard foil types for deep-drawing applications in the following rolls and formats: A-PET films, G/A/G films, G-PET films. In addition, we manufacture composite films that acquire various sealing, peeling and barrier properties through their enhancement with PE films. Our products are mainly used in forming, filling and locking systems as well as conventional deep-drawing plants for manufacturing blister packaging. Another area of application is the manufacturing of transparent packaging materials such as collapsible boxes, cylinders, etc. They can be sterilised via EtO sterilisation or gamma irradiation and used in primary or secondary packaging. A great advantage of PET is that it is an environmentally friendly material: It can be recycled and leaves no harmful residues when combusted.
