Magnescale was founded as Sony Magnescale in 1969 and has been part of the DMGMORI Group since 2010. This helps to achieve very high resolutions in the single-digit picometer range. These measuring systems are primarily used in semiconductor production and in measuring machines. Outside of Japan, Magnescale Co., Ltd. has sales companies in Germany (Wernau, near Stuttgart) and in the USA (Irvine, California) and is also supported globally by a large network of distributors and retailers.
