Fergana Furan Compounds Plant, a unified company, was founded in 1946 in response to the need to use technical ethanolyl alcohol in the defence industry. In 1965, facilities for producing tetrahydrofurfuryl alcohol and fodder yeast were built, and hydrogen and nitrogen plants were put into operation. In 2002, German company Unionmatex ordered the production of cotton pulp with a capacity of 30, 000 tonnes per year, which cost, according to the company, around $50 million. In 2012, Fargona Kimyo Zavodi LLC was founded on the basis of the Fergana Furan Compounds Plant. The company is one of the largest producers of cotton pulp in Uzbekistan. Our products are used as raw materials in many manufacturing companies. Today, 80% of our products are exported, to Bulgaria, China, Germany, Serbia, Russia and other CIS countries.

Since 1998, Stieler Kunststoff Service GmbH in Goslar has developed innovative solutions for special technologies in the field of plastics engineering & sells equipment technology produced in-house worldwide.
