We are a team of around 20 employees, and are experts in the new production and reconditioning of shock absorbers. We also produce bogie components, as well as welded parts for rail vehicles. Our production is customer-specific and based on a sample. This also includes metal parts, milled parts, turned parts and welded parts. We have been offering tailor-made solutions of the highest level of quality since 1932. Our product range: The extensive machinery and the expertise of personnel in the areas of transformation, CNC and conventional machining make it possible for us to offer everything – from an individual part to a small series. Machining and processing of standard steels, through high-alloy steels and right up to all non-ferrous metals is at the forefront here. The company was founded in 1986 as a sole trader business by Edgar Hohmann, who was trained as an industrial engineer. Such was the company's growth that he very soon needed more space and had to rent an entire hall, where operations continued until the current production site was built in 1992. In 2011, the company was passed on to the second generation, ably led by Managing Directors Karin Hohmann-Riecke (Dipl.-Wirt.-Ing., MSc.) and Stefan Hohmann (master craftsman, business manager). In 2020, the existing production hall was extended to increase production and manufacture capacities. The company presently employs 18 people and operates 10 CNC turning machines, a milling centre, a laser marking machine, Trowal machines and many other finishing and measuring machines. Furthermore, we have long-standing working relationships with many partners, enabling us to offer a one-stop shop for most additional processing works such as nickel plating and tin plating.

Ludwig Hunger Werkzeug- und Maschinenfabrik GmbH has been developing and distributing tools of the highest quality for precision drilling since 1922, as well as machines and devices for repairing motors and large engines since 1950. Alongside machining valve seats and valves with our valve seat turning machines and valve grinding machines, we also offer various honing machines, high-pressure hydraulic power units and a nozzle test rig. But we also produce our adjustable reamers, as before, in increasingly improved versions. We are committed to always improving our product range in the future too.
