PEKU Folien GmbH is a medium-sized family business that focuses on the sustainable production of films and bags. The company is a partner for the food, hygiene, garden, industrial, medical, pharmaceutical and many other sectors. The product portfolio consists of mono- and co-extruded films made of polyethylene, which are up to 100% recyclable. Internal film waste is processed in our own recycling plant and returned to the production cycle. For our films and bags made from recycled material, PCR (post-consumer resin) and PIR (post-industrial resin) regranulates are also used, depending on customer requirements. In addition, with PEKUGreen, a brand was created that uses renewable raw materials. PEKU prints all films with up to 10 colours in high-quality flexographic printing (full HD quality), depending on customer requirements. The range of films includes tubular, half-tubular and flat films. In the converted area, PEKU has concentrated on drawstring bags, pressure seal bags, chain bags, Euro-hole bags, wrap-around bags and special bags. In addition, the film manufacturer also offers simple bottom gusset, side seam and bottom seam bags. We have decided not to use any additives, even fragrances are only used very discreetly in order to ensure the best possible skin compatibility. Our soaps are made gently at low temperatures. In contrast to curd soaps, the glycerin produced during the reaction is not removed but stirred in. Glycerin is a by-product of the saponification reaction of sodium hydroxide with the corresponding oils. It ensures a gentler feeling when washing hands and sufficient care. Here we have compiled all the essential information about the ingredients and the different types of soap. There you can also learn about the saponification reaction and browse more content. We store our natural soaps for about 5-6 weeks after production. The soap needs this time to mature and harden. This time is important because otherwise the natural soap would be too soft and would be used up quickly. Our soaps are free of plastic and mineral oils and are lovingly packed in recycled material. Shipping is done with biodegradable packaging material. We pay a lot of attention to reusable materials and tools during production.
