Since the company was founded in 1905, we have specialised in wood. Over several generations, we have evolved from a timber plant with water-powered sawmills to an ultra-modern pallet manufacturer producing approx. 2 million pallets every year for the German and European market. To ensure that we can react to customer requirements at short notice, we always have a wide variety of our customer pallets in dry storage, as well as all chemical pallets. Three fully-automated production lines: several pallet types are manufactured simultaneously on our production lines. A failure on one line can therefore easily be offset. Drying capacities: several drying rooms allow us to dry all pallets and deliver them to our customers in accordance with the ISPM 15 Standard (IPPC).

We are the market leader for wooden pallets in Germany and Europe's largest manufacturer of euro-pallets. Whether boards, blocks or nails – we manufacture all of our own subproducts at our site in Torgau in eastern Germany. This means that we ensure planning certainty and security of supply for your production. HIT Holzindustrie Torgau was founded in 1999 and, with over EUR 220 million of turnover and around 800 employees, is one of the biggest manufacturers of euro-pallets in Europe. Every year, over 1.1 million cubic metres of wood are processed into pallets and other wood products (incl. sawn timber, pellets and briquettes) at the production site in Torgau. The plant has annual production and drying capacities for 17 million transport pallets. In recent years, HIT has invested over EUR 200 million into a highly technological and fully integrated production process which covers all stages of value creation – from procuring the untreated wood to producing and delivering pallets and other wood products. All of the waste materials generated during processing, such as wood bark, wood chips and sawdust, are further processed to produce marketable finished and semi-finished products. For example, sawdust is used to produce pellets and briquettes, and blocks are used to make transport pallets. The wood residues are used to power five in-house biomass heating plants. The high-quality wood products originate from sustainable, certified forests.

Compressed wood pallets from INKA Pallets are pest-free ex-factory and comply with ISPM 15, which means they can be exported worldwide without pre-treatment or IPPC certification. For transport via overseas shipping, we recommend our container pallets, which allow optimal loading for 20 and 40 ft containers. INKA pallets are also suitable for presentation at the point of sale.
