Initially, the company focused on double-shell frames with round and square panels as well as on frames for installation flush with the wall. In 2002, the company turned its attention to the development of single- and double-leaf smoke and fire protection elements. In this area, AZ® Metallbau GmbH, working together with leading door leaf manufacturers, is an important supplier for T30 + T30 RS properties (approval in line with EN standard and VKF in Switzerland). Thanks to this expertise, AZ® has become a system supplier for the property market – a development also evidenced by the new, compact InWin prefabricated window system. AZ® Metallbau has been a company of the Vienna-based Baustoff+Metall Group since November 2007.
