Zalewa Tec primarily produces sand castings and sand cores for foundries using 3D printing. A binder jetting process is used, which means that no support structures are required. We derive the necessary printing data from your technical drawings or CAD data. Needless to say, we can also print data sets you have created yourself and create a digital version of your original component. In addition, we can also reproduce spare parts made from steel, iron, aluminium, magnesium, copper, zinc, tin, nickel and cobalt alloys, as well as manufacturing your pre-series and managing your projects until they are ready for series production. Moreover, we can print foundry and thermoforming models made of sand and continue processing them such that small series can be produced. Karl Kaldenberg – important milestones in the company's history. 1930 – Founded by Karl Kaldenberg as a sand foundry for brass casting. 1959 – Death of company founder Karl Kaldenberg. Up to 1963 – Company continued by Elisabeth Kaldenberg. 1963 – Acquisition by Karl Hans-Peter Kaldenberg. 1965 – Relocation to the current site of Heiligenhaus, which had a production area of approx. 600 m² at the time. 1980 – Construction of new production area of around 700 m² for the chill foundry. 2008 – Acquisition by Karl Joachim Stephan Kaldenberg. The production area has been continuously extended to its current size of more than 5000 m². Our production process uses the latest technical equipment and is based on a certified quality management system.

FEHRMANN Materials produces industrial-grade, high-performance aluminium and can meet the highest demands and requirements. We develop high-performance aluminium alloys for 3D printing, casting and extrusion applications for other vendors and we use these ourselves for the industrial production of sand-casting parts. Fehrmann is a one-stop shop distributor for established 3D printing metal powders such as tool steel powder (1.2709), stainless steel powder 316L, AlSi10Mg, TiAl6V4 powdered alloy (fine/coarse) and CoCr powder. By up scaling quantities, combined with optimised storage and quality assurance, we bring together the advantages of international trade to meet the availability and quality requirements of our customers and promote 3D printing. An additional focus is the development of an aluminium alloy (AlMgty®) with particular mechanical properties – known as high-performance alloys. These are used for casting (sand, chill and die casting) as well as in extrusion and additive manufacturing/3D printing (LPBF/SLM and DED).
