U-Tech GmbH works in association with Selectronic Funk- und Sicherheitstechnik GmbH which has been developing and manufacturing products in the field of high frequency technology, mobile communications and security technology since 1976. The company took a significant step forwards by collaborating with the then BGIA – Berufsgenossenschaftlichen Institut für Arbeitssicherheit (German Institute for Occupational Safety).
