We are the market leader for wooden pallets in Germany and Europe's largest manufacturer of euro-pallets. Whether boards, blocks or nails – we manufacture all of our own subproducts at our site in Torgau in eastern Germany. This means that we ensure planning certainty and security of supply for your production. HIT Holzindustrie Torgau was founded in 1999 and, with over EUR 220 million of turnover and around 800 employees, is one of the biggest manufacturers of euro-pallets in Europe. Every year, over 1.1 million cubic metres of wood are processed into pallets and other wood products (incl. sawn timber, pellets and briquettes) at the production site in Torgau. The plant has annual production and drying capacities for 17 million transport pallets. In recent years, HIT has invested over EUR 200 million into a highly technological and fully integrated production process which covers all stages of value creation – from procuring the untreated wood to producing and delivering pallets and other wood products. All of the waste materials generated during processing, such as wood bark, wood chips and sawdust, are further processed to produce marketable finished and semi-finished products. For example, sawdust is used to produce pellets and briquettes, and blocks are used to make transport pallets. The wood residues are used to power five in-house biomass heating plants. The high-quality wood products originate from sustainable, certified forests.

Established in 1990, TME is a multi-generational family company. It began as a small shop selling electronic components for service and small-scale production in Łódź (Poland). After two years, TME compiled its first product catalogue and began to trade by mail order, which at the time was an innovative step. With the economical growth in Poland and other countries in Central and Eastern Europe, TME gained new customers and introduced new product ranges to its portfolio. In 1997, the company moved to its current site – a modern logistics centre and warehouse that have already been enlarged several times since 1997. In the course of time, TME began to sell its products via its website. The service quality was confirmed by ISO 9001: 2009 and 14001: 2005 certification.
