Since 1990, a highly qualified team of engineers and physicists at FOCUS, in collaboration with external partners, have been working to ensure that FOCUS products always confirm to the latest precision welding requirements. The FOCUS MEWB-60 micro electron beam machine is used for welding work with the strictest requirements, in such fields as, among others, sensor technology, aerospace engineering, R&D and university research worldwide. Together with the recently presented FOCUS LaVa micro laser beam welding machine, this comprises our "Power Beam" product range. All products are developed, manufactured and tested in house. This is the case for the physical vacuum components, the optoelectronic components (FOCUS, Huenstetten) as well as the related electronic equipment and software (FOCUS electronics, Leipzig). The focus at our factory in Leipzig is on software development and intelligent control concepts

Moisture represents a major economic risk for manufacturers, shippers and recipients. Packaging, shipping and storage are key elements that can be undone by insufficient care. Hermetic packaging is not sufficient. Changing climate conditions and temperatures during weeks in transport at sea lead to the formation of condensation, which corrodes metal. If no protective measures are taken, surfaces can be damaged, efficacy and suitability for storage is reduced and malfunctions or total loss may be caused. With TROPACK, you can calculate the risks and precautions. Application methods and quantities vary depending on the sector, product and individual case. The desiccants required for a shipment are mathematically calculated for each individual case using a program designed specially for TROPACK based on DIN 55474.
