1906: The brand logo GEBE is the initials of Gotthilf Breining, the OEM supplier for Bosch, Lucas, Fiat and Ducellier (Valeo). Breining as a supplier of carbon brushes and self-lubricating bushes. Willy J. Schoenen was managing director of Gotthilf Breining GmbH, which he joined back in 1968.
