EXPERTS IN HEAT-TREATMENT. The REESE Group comprises four centres for hardening technology located in Bochum, Brackenheim, Chemnitz and Weimar, was founded in 1948 and continuously developed to become what it is today – an innovative, owner-run, medium-sized company with approximately 240 employees. With 200 systems for the thermal treatment of steel and other metal materials, HÄRTEREI REESE offers its international customers a comprehensive spectrum of procedures. On request, we can provide customer-specific design and production consultation through our own engineers and technicians. Thanks to our sophisticated system, control and measuring technology, perfectly suited to workpieces with large dimensions or unusual geometries as well as small parts in series production. We also offer hardness tests in our own metallographic laboratory. And of course, our quality, environment and energy management systems are all certified.

For more than 140 years, the name Wuppermann has been associated with quality in processing steel. Since our foundation in 1872, our family company has continuously developed to ensure that we can provide innovative designs and highly qualified processing. The products that we offer range from flat products, pipes and sheet metal parts through to integrated components and complex steel, stainless steel and aluminium assemblies. The Wuppermann Group as it is today was built up out of the remaining companies owned by the family following the sale of a rolling mill in Leverkusen in 1985. It is controlled by Wuppermann AG as a holding company based in Leverkusen, which is completely under family ownership. The three divisions of Flat & Tube Products, Systems Technology and Service & Consultation are responsible for day-to-day operations. The Group has around 1500 employees at nine production locations, and achieved a turnover of 547 million euros in 2015.
