  1. ERNST THOMAS GMBH

    Germany

    Verified by europages badge

The company was founded in the 1890s by its namesake Ernst Thomas as a typical ironmongery for the region. Back then, production focused on fittings for wooden crates and forged tools for poking furnaces. After a patent was obtained for the "Muldensteinschraube" (a special screw designed to be used as a fixing point during concrete casting, DIN 529, shape F) in 1909, the focus of production shifted to hot forged and cold formed fasteners. Today, production mainly comprises hammerhead bolts, eye bolts, anchor bolts and special bolts for the construction and mechanical engineering industries. Very long lengths, special sizes, small quantities and short delivery times are our speciality.

Our company was founded in 1954. In the early days of the company, fittings were produced by aluminium chill casting. At the start of the 1980s, zinc die-casting became an established part of production. Shortly afterwards, production was expanded to include the field of aluminium die-casting. Our successful company development is still shaped by a balanced relationship between tradition and progress. Today, we supply our discerning customer base across Europe – in industrial and medical technology, mechanical engineering and the automotive, construction and furniture industries – with products made by aluminium die-casting, zinc die-casting and aluminium chill casting. With our core competence in the areas of aluminium and zinc die-casting, as well as aluminium chill casting, our customers receive daily support in producing and supplying ready-to-install casting components.

  3. J. C. KÖNIG STIFTUNG & CO KG

    Germany

We create precision deep-drawn parts made from stainless steel, steel and non-ferrous metals at our modern production sites. Our production focuses on thin-walled and usually rotationally symmetrical hollow parts with wall thicknesses of between 0.15 and 2.3 mm. In doing so we not only implement the tightest tolerances regarding dimensions, shape and position, we also meet the high surface quality requirements of the components. The component cleanliness we need to achieve is also very important here. If required, the surfaces of the components are mechanically or galvanically reworked. Every year, our company processes roughly 1200 t of stainless steel, 1800 t of steel and 80 t of non-ferrous metals. Our employees' expertise, in conjunction with cutting edge production systems, enable us to produce highly complex geometries which can require more than 20 forming steps in extreme cases. And we achieve all this while meeting your precision and quality requirements.
