Centrally located in the Ruhr region, we serve customers all over the world. Whether this solution is realised with standard elements from our product range or through the new construction of a vibration damper doesn't make a big difference here. Due to our attached production facility at the Bochum site, we are able to quickly master many construction-related problems. As an owner-managed family business, we launched out company, Filtrum GmbH, in Hemer in 2004. Today, we deliver our plastic injection-moulded parts, stamped parts and moulded parts as well as our filters & dirt trap applications throughout Europe. Our customers operate in the fields of service water, heating technology and electrical engineering among others, and we have provided them with reliable support for a number of years. Extending our portfolio, we also provide products in the field of longitudinal/roll seam welding. This allows us to offer our customers larger filters with a diameter of up to approx. 200 mm and a length of up to approx. 750 mm. What has driven us forward since 2004? Turning our customers’ ideas into reality: all articles are custom-made products that we manufacture in accordance with your drawings and specifications. The following types of material are currently used: Plastic injection moulding: POM, certified for drinking water, PP, PE, PU, ABS. Stamped & moulded parts: brass, stainless steel. Filter inserts & dirt trap applications: 1.4301 + 1.4401 in wire thicknesses from 0.0125 mm to 4 mm and mesh sizes from 20 µm to 4000 µm

Thanks to more than 60 years of concentrated further development of our core business, our company now specialises in producing grids and meshes of all kinds for our customers. We provide products both for retail and directly for end customers. Our company was founded in 1945 as a metalworking company with subdivisions for fencing and door construction. Even in its early years, the company incorporated a small mechanical engineering department, in order to design wire processing machines for in-house use. In the 1970s, wire weaving developed into an equally important source of income for the company. In 1978, the first fully automatic production facility for corrugated grids and stamping grids was built, the company relocated to Erkrath and new markets were opened up thanks to the company concentrating on manufacturing wire meshes. In 1995, the product range was expanded to include spot-welded grids and profile edgings. Manufacturing is now carried out on four fully automated production lines.
