Aluminiumwerk Unna AG is a medium-sized company producing semi-finished aluminium products. We manufacture a comprehensive range of specialist aluminium alloy products. In addition to aluminum alloy tubes, which are our trademark, we also produce profiles and extrusion billet. Located in Unna, Germany, the plant is fully integrated and includes a cast house, extrusion plant, heat treatment ovens and tube drawing and cutting equipment. The advantage for our Customer: Both extruded and drawn products are available from a single source. The entire value added chain beginning with the melting, alloying and casting of aluminium billet through extrusion and drawing to final heat treatment and cutting of the semi-finished product all takes place in our factory. Having total control over each processing step enables us to tailor the final properties or other attributes of our product to your subsequent processing needs. Today, we can offer a unique spectrum of alloys, tube dimensions, profile shapes and lengths for aluminium alloy tubes and profiles. A warm welcome to the Chemicals division of Grillo-Werke AG. Our focus is on the manufacture and international sale of inorganic sulphur and zinc chemicals. We also operate the most modern dimethyl ether plant in Europe. Our product specifications range from technical quality to ultra-pure pharmaceutical quality. The main areas of application extend from the chemical industry to the manufacture of fibre and cellulose, and from the feed and foodstuff industries to pharmaceutical applications. The Sulphuric Acid, Sulphur Dioxide and Recycling business unit operates a sulphuric acid plant for the manufacture of liquid sulphur trioxide, oleum and 96% and 98% sulphuric acid, and recycles sulphuric acids for the production and marketing of sulphur dioxide. The Sulphates and Sulphites business unit is responsible for the production and marketing of zinc sulphate, as well as dimethyl sulphate (DMS), dimethyl ether (DME), sodium bisulphate, sodium bisulphite and sodium pyrosulphite.

The Otto Junker high-grade steel foundry in Lammersdorf, Simerath (20 km south of Aachen), specialises in special alloys. Our range of materials offers customers a wide selection of high-alloy iron-, nickel- and cobalt-based varieties. These materials are melted in highly efficient induction ovens, using vacuum technology where required. Our range of products includes corrosion-resistant alloys, heat-resistant alloys, non-magnetisable alloys, hard-wearing alloys and multiple special nickel- and cobalt-based alloys. We also make cast ferrous materials designed to handle exceptionally high levels of stress corrosion from JUNKERALLOY® nickel-based alloys. We have been producing and supplying many of these materials for decades. We produce more materials than are shown on our website – about 100 varieties in total.
