    In 1956, Hubert Deimel founded the "Hubert Deimel Haushaltwarenfabrik". It manufactured the "famous" potato peelers. The product was a sales hit and formed the basis for the company's successful development. Today, the company is known as Westmark GmbH and has over 2500 items on offer. As a specialist trade partner, Westmark offers a range of practical catering and kitchen aids along with household goods. Our core areas of expertise are manual household aids for peeling, cutting, dividing, preparing food, serving and taking away, boiling down, baking, eating, gifts, baskets and table sets. Most of our revenue comes from items that are MADE IN GERMANY and are manufactured in-house. Production departments include plastic injection moulding and extrusion, aluminium die casting, zinc die casting and metalworking. Production takes place at the headquarters in Lennestadt-Elspe and in Wittelsberg.

    RTB GmbH & Co. KG, Bad Lippspringe, is one of the leading international suppliers of traffic technology. Founded in 1993 by owner and managing director Rudolf Broer, the company employs around 140 employees, including 27 developers. RTB places great value on encouraging its own junior staff. The company is currently training 24 young people. RTB was successfully launched in 1994 with the development of acoustics for traffic lights in line with the new DIN standard. With the sensor that followed in 1997, the company was quickly promoted to the innovation and market leader in Germany. In 2003, the international breakthrough was made. RTB equipped more than 10, 000 traffic lights in Hong Kong with acoustics and sensors. Even today, Hong Kong has the largest share of international business when it comes to overall foreign sales. The company strengthened its own development in 2004 with the foundation of RTB-Elektronik GmbH, Kamen. With the acquisition of parking meters from Siemens AG, RTB opened another chapter of company history in 2014. Two years later, RTB developed the product LOC.id, a mobility aid for the blind and visually impaired. The company was advanced through international expansion with the foundation of RTB Safe Traffic, Inc. in Canada. RTB maintains an office there in Stoney Creek. In 2021, a further important step in the area of internationalisation followed, with the foundation of the sales office RTB Safe Traffic Asia, Ltd. in Hong Kong.
