Our focus is on the individual development of industrial cases with individual foam inlays that provide ideal protection for our customers' products. Manufacturers from a wide range of industries have packaging cases including matching inserts and foam parts produced by LKT. In addition to inserts for sales cases, the product range also includes other foam and rigid foam products such as load carriers or two-colour tool inserts for workshop trolleys, technical parts and custom-made products as well as damping pads, seals or insulation

The company was founded in the 1890s by its namesake Ernst Thomas as a typical ironmongery for the region. Back then, production focused on fittings for wooden crates and forged tools for poking furnaces. After a patent was obtained for the "Muldensteinschraube" (a special screw designed to be used as a fixing point during concrete casting, DIN 529, shape F) in 1909, the focus of production shifted to hot forged and cold formed fasteners. Today, production mainly comprises hammerhead bolts, eye bolts, anchor bolts and special bolts for the construction and mechanical engineering industries. Very long lengths, special sizes, small quantities and short delivery times are our speciality.
