  1. WALTHER TROWAL GMBH&CO.KG

    Germany

Since 1931 Walther Trowal has been developing and producing systems for the refinement of surfaces. Initially focusing exclusively on mass finishing – the term “Trowalizing” originated from the company’s cable address “Trommel Walther” – Walther Trowal has continuously expanded its product portfolio. Over time the company has developed a broad range of machinery and systems for mass finishing, shot blasting and coating of mass produced small components. With the invention of new systems like, for example, drag finishing and the development of special finishing methods for 3D printed components, the company has proven its innovative capabilities again and again. Trowal develops and implements complete surface treatment solutions that can be seamlessly integrated into linked production systems existing at the customers. This includes the entire process technology, perfectly adapted to the specific surface finishing requirements of the work pieces: Equipment and the respective consumables always complement each other in a perfect manner. Each individual work piece and each manufacturing process must meet special technical requirements. That is why the experienced process engineers in our test lab, in close cooperation with the customers, develop the optimal process technology for the finishing task at hand. The result: Work piece surfaces that meet exactly the required specification with short processing times and a high degree of consistent, repeatable results.

  2. EVONIK INDUSTRIES AG

    Germany

Evonik has been producing acrylic acid in Marl since 1991. With time, the acrylic acid plant has become one of the largest acrylic acid plants in the world. Acrylic acid is a highly reactive monomer that is used to produce a large number of different compounds and polymers and is a starting material for polyacrylic acids, plastics and synthetic coatings. Acrylic acid (GAA) is the main raw material used in the manufacture of superabsorbents (SAP). Depending on the molecular weight or connectivity, acrylic acid is also used in flocculating agents, chelating agents and thickening agents. In addition, it copolymerises with monomers such as styrene, butadiene and vinyl acetate. Evonik's acrylic acid range includes acrylic acid products supplied in various different types of packaging (barrels and IBCs), as well as in tankers and tank wagons. The acrylic acid plant in Marl and the relevant management systems are certified in accordance with DIN EN ISO 9001: 2000, DIN EN ISO 14001: 2005 and BS: OHSAS 18001: 2007 and EMAS.

  3. Kähmann

    Germany

Since our foundation in 2001, we have been supporting our customers with reliable water treatment and high-pressure cleaning systems and offering guidance on related issues. Depending on the starting situation, we strive to make the treatment process as automated as possible, without the addition of flocculants. In this way, we can save our customers substantial costs and also meet environmental targets within the value chain. Our high-pressure cleaning systems are specially designed for heavy-duty use. This also keeps the exhaust gas heat loss far below the levels stipulated in statutory regulations.. Our special technology guarantees constant temperature and pressure levels, which are then reflected in the cleaning results and time investment required. The first products we manufactured are still in use by our customers today.
