The Family Butchers (TFB) is the second largest sausage processing company in Germany, with eight production plants, 2400 employees and annual sales of 720 million euros. The family company boasts many years of skill and experience as a specialist in products for private labels and as a brand manufacturer for renowned brands such as Reinert Bärchen, Reinert Sommerwurst, Reinert Chambelle, Reinert Schinken Nuggetz and Reinert HerzensSACHE. The company is deeply rooted in the concept of innovation: TFB successfully created the children's character sausage slice segment with Reinert Bärchen-Wurst, and was the first sausage brand to bring 100% antibiotic-free rearing to the German market with Reinert HerzensSACHE. More than 660 million SB products are produced each year, with the portfolio ranging from classic raw, cooked and parboiled sausages to new creations with different seasonings, and hybrid products for both the self-service shelves and the deli counter.

Data-Label profile description: At its production site close to Bad Honnef, Data-Label GmbH produces a wide range of foils, adhesive labels, printed labels and hangtags from a number of different materials. Our customer base comprises start-ups, food companies, fashion companies and plant dealers. Sustainability is very important in our factory. We focus on energy-efficient production calling primarily on solar power. At present, almost 50% of our production volume is entirely recyclable. In cooperation with our partners, we have developed innovative products, including loop labels and hangtags, which are made without using composite materials such as paper or plastic and therefore offer an outstanding feel and stability. Composite materials are difficult to recycle. Furthermore, Data-Label GmbH boasts comprehensive know-how developed over 20 years of producing food-safe labels for foodstuffs. We develop and produce highly-innovative adhesive labels for direct contact with meat products. Since the BSE crisis, we have focussed our attention in particular on the labelling of beef. With more than 20 years’ experience, we are also a reliable and competent partner in this field.
