A large number of the employees are responsible for all sales and customer services, for the close European trading network. As one of the world‘s largest manufacturers of robots, arc welding and cutting machines, as well as components for the automation of welding technology and material handling, OTC DAIHEN EUROPE develops and designs turnkey automation solutions and is thus an indispensable link to the system houses and dealers. Consulting, project development, system production, training and service go hand in hand. At the European headquarters, everything revolves around the planning and construction of robotic systems, as well as the demonstrations or test series for welding processes with robots and welding machines. Since 2014, DAIHEN VARSTROJ has been part of the Group and a European production facility for various Daihen products. The company‘s European presence was further strengthened in 2016/2017, by opening a showroom in Munich and a Demo-center in Mainhardt (near Stuttgart).

Stahlkontor is an international supplier for components and assemblies made of high-strength steel and armor steel for the application areas of Defence, Aviation, Industry and Rail, as well as other civilian areas of use. More than 150 years of tradition and experience in working with steel and non-ferrous metals stand for extensive material and process know-how. State-of-the-art fleet of machinery using not only tried-and-tested cutting, joining and processing techniques, but also future-oriented technology. With its extensive investments, for example in additive production processes or the patented Double-LaserHybrid-Process (DLHP®) which was developed in-house, Stahlkontor has opened up new perspectives in economical precision production of parts made of high-alloy steel. The core competences of Stahlkontor are spread across the three service areas of cutting, joining and cold forming. Laser-beam cutting, water-jet cutting and HSC contour milling are used for cutting according to the type and thickness of the raw material. A choice of laser-beam, laser-hybrid and inert-gas welding are available as joining technologies. For cold forming, Stahlkontor offers bending, compression molding and edging as available in-house processes. With range of mechanical processing, welding processes and surface treatment available at Stahlkontor, it is possible to manufacture components and assemblies ready for installation and further processing.

Thanks to more than 60 years of concentrated further development of our core business, our company now specialises in producing grids and meshes of all kinds for our customers. We provide products both for retail and directly for end customers. Our company was founded in 1945 as a metalworking company with subdivisions for fencing and door construction. Even in its early years, the company incorporated a small mechanical engineering department, in order to design wire processing machines for in-house use. In the 1970s, wire weaving developed into an equally important source of income for the company. In 1978, the first fully automatic production facility for corrugated grids and stamping grids was built, the company relocated to Erkrath and new markets were opened up thanks to the company concentrating on manufacturing wire meshes. In 1995, the product range was expanded to include spot-welded grids and profile edgings. Manufacturing is now carried out on four fully automated production lines.

MÜLLER OPLADEN is an owner-managed traditional German mechanical engineering company founded in 1919. The US specialist WATTS has belonged to the MÜLLER OPLADEN corporate group since 2016.
