MAHYTEC, a French company based at DOLE in the Jura, develops high-pressure gaseous and solid hydrogen storage solutions as hydrides for stationary and mobile applications. MAHYTEC offers you innovative solutions to suit your needs on the strength of its experience in composite materials and filament winding. MAHYTEC was set up in 2008 and is involved in many research projects. It has made a name for itself with the general public primarily through its hydrogen-powered thermal lawnmower, used by DOLE's neighbourhood management and a hydrogen-powered coffee maker used by the Swiss Federal Railways that provides an uninterrupted electricity supply to a drinks trolleys for the production of hot beverages for travellers. MAHYTEC is one of the stakeholders in the MOBYPOST project: vehicles running on hydrogen that the Franche-Comté post office has just put into circulation.
