From Engineer to Master Aleppo Soapmaker. In 1989 Riad BASMAJI (RB) "who hailed from Aleppo", finished his post-graduate studies and was awarded his doctorate in Earth Sciences Engineering from the Paris Observatory. He submitted his knowledge to serve several French firms. He discovered the virtues of Aleppo soap by pure coincidence.In 1993 while staying in Cannes, RB had a fungal attack between his thighs. This cutaneous mycosis problem came and went on and off for 4 years. In 1997, his sister came to visit him in France from Aleppo in Syria. She gave her brother a gift: it was Aleppo soap. At the time, this soap was unheard of in France and Europe. RB used the Aleppo soap on his body. After 3 months, he made a happy discovery: the fungal problem had been eradicated. This personal story prompted him to conduct an in-depth study of this miraculous soap and ensure that everybody could take advantage of its virtues. Great love and passion were aroused for Aleppo soap. In 2001 in conjunction with two friends, he set up a firm to distribute Aleppo soap in France. The haphazard dosing of laurel berry oil by most of the master soap makers of Aleppo, persuaded him to open his first soap works in the Aleppo region (Kafar Naha) in 2003 with the aim of mastering the manufacture of his Aleppo soap from start to finish.

Out of the Blue is located on the ground floor of a typical Parisian building. The studio has direct access to the building’s courtyard, where you can quietly enjoy a break (if you need one). Once inside, a lobby and break room awaits you to hold your production meeting or simply check your emails quietly. Following is the control room, where you can listen, preview your program in an optimal environment. A large and comfortable studio with a video monitor completes Out of the Blue facilities.
