CDF Sourcing is a French company whose sole shareholder is the NGO, Cœur de Forêt. We support an extensive network of suppliers along with 70 producers who produce oils with the direct support of the NGO. CDF Sourcing is in charge of representing the producers on the market and manages sales of their products. Our offering is based on a sustainable model, the goal of which is to finance the formation of producers, the structuring of cooperatives and the wider activities of the Cœur de Forêt association (raising awareness, reforestation, training). The producers with whom we work are trained to develop natural products which respect the environment, with no chemical ingredients. We have adopted a fair trade economic model for our suppliers, and provide our employees with an honest, stable form of employment. We remain in close contact with our suppliers on the ground: we conduct audits of our suppliers to understand the impact their production is having on the environment, and to monitor the quality of the products, the salary of the employees, and traceability. Our environmentally-responsible production methods allow us to guarantee superior quality oils, with properties that can be used in aromatherapy, cosmetics, or even in perfumery. Lavender growers for four generations, since 1916, we offer a quality essential oil that is organic and has a Protected Designation of Origin (PDO). Our family, the Fras, grows lavender at Lagarde d’Apt, at an altitude of 1, 100 metres between Ventoux and Luberon in France. We have been fully organic since 1979. Every year, our entire crop is PDO certified "Huile essentielle de lavande fine de haute Provence", guaranteeing its origin, traceability and quality. This cultivated lavender comes originally from wild plants, meaning it is a better lavender than a cloned one known as lavandula angustifolia, or a lavandin. We are producers of fine organic essential oils, organic super lavandin essential oils and fine organic lavender hydrosol. Our fine essential oils of lavender are made from organically grown plants, with no chemical or synthetic products. This means they are perfect for use in aromatherapy and cosmetics. Our products are available for sale in small or large quantities. Essential oils of lavender have multiple qualities and are used in cosmetics, massage, to combat stress, colds and even in cookery to make deliciously tasty lavender biscuits.

LAHN (Natural Oil Analysis Laboratory) specialises in the quality of control of natural oils and saffron. We prepare conformity reports in relation to the AFNOR, ISO and CODEX standards, the Pharmacopoeia or European regulations. The quality control of olive oils serves to establish EXTRA VIRGIN conformity, which is mandatory when marketing olive oil pursuant to regulation CE 2568/91. We analyse all types of edible oil (sunflower, walnut, hazelnut, camelina, safflower, castor, sweet almond, sesame, hemp, rapeseed, nigella, grape seed, soya, argan, etc.) and prepare conformity reports in relation to the CODEX standard. The laboratory analyses the composition of essential oils (lavender, lavandin, thyme, sage, rosemary, hyssop, etc. We prepare allergen data sheets, standard data sheets and IFRA certificates for the use of essential oils as ingredients in cosmetic products. The laboratory can also analyse a number of physico-chemical parameters: acid value, peroxide value, density, refractometry. The peroxide value is particularly important in evaluating the dates of minimum durability (DMD) of oils. The laboratory also analyses saffron in accordance with the ISO 3632 standard. Our laboratory performs all these analyses and prepares the regulatory documents with a high level of reactivity. Our reports can be prepared in French or English.
