GAUFREX was set up in 1947 in the heart of the Lorraine valley and has been the manufacturer of one of the world's best tea towels for many decades. They derive from unique, French know-how, as we pay special attention to offer our customers a high quality product! Genuine Gaufrex Fils twisted warp and weft. These tea towels or towels with these twisted threads (i.e. threads made up of two or more strands that are twisted together after having been individually twisted), offer good absorption and are very hard wearing. This extra-absorbent texture is due to the thread counts that are not woven tightly and the double weave that traps almost all the water from the outer surface! You can use them over and over again – they will last and last! Our tea towel and towel ranges have changed over time, to suit current fashions and trends. Our colourways match our customers' wishes.
