In 1994 Denis HEITZ, a French vet, was confronted with the problem of removing ticks from his four legged patients. He then designed a simple and efficient tick hook, registered a patent and sold it under the O’TOM® then Tick Twister® brands. In 1995 he sold his veterinary practice and set up H3D. The Tick Twister® quickly became a best-seller with over 2 million items sold each year in over 35 countries worldwide. In 2010 H3D launched a new product: BambooStick®, a cotton bud specially designed to clean dogs' ears. Just like the Tick Twister®, the BambooStick® became a worldwide success with millions sold around the world.
