In 1994 Denis HEITZ, a French vet, was confronted with the problem of removing ticks from his four legged patients. He then designed a simple and efficient tick hook, registered a patent and sold it under the O’TOM® then Tick Twister® brands. In 1995 he sold his veterinary practice and set up H3D.
