... pressing. Aging: 6 months on fine lees. Bottling in February 2023. Diam 3 cork marked. Tasting: its bright red color offers bluish and shiny reflections. On the nose, it presents a true trio of aromas of stewed black berries, spices, and essences of the maquis that transport you to the heart of Balagne. The palate is round and lively, with silky tannins that support the aromatic sensations. Le Rouge Fraticello is a wine of character, with typical aromas of Corsican grape varieties, smooth and fruity. It pairs naturally with Corsican culinary specialties such as Figatellu and wild boar stew.
